Lets Glow™

Illuminating the Physics of Light

Every year, the National Inventors Hall of Fame hosts a number of exciting STEM summer camp programs across the United States. Children in Grades K-6 get to participate in classes led by local educators and learn about various STEM and STEAM concepts. Lets Glow is one of the 2024 National Camp modules where campers uncover the science of light through illuminating inventions and glowing animals. In addition to building their own one-of-a-kind Glow Box, kids get to experiment with different forms of light and customize their designs. Harnessing the power of illumination, to make their ideas shine.

As the designer responsible for the visual elements of Lets Glow, continuing my collaboration with the Education team to bring the activities, take-home, log, and other module elements to life was highly rewarding. This project presented opportunities to flex my die-line creation muscles and even help develop a colorful cast of characters for kids to enjoy in the video elements of this module.
